Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’ delayed!

New Delhi, Jul 30 (ANI): Karan Johar’s upcoming film ‘Student of the Year 2’ starring Tiger Shroff has got a new release date. The flick was expected to hit theatres on November 23 this year has now been postponed to summer 2019. Helmed by Punit Malhotra, the film is distributed by Fox Star Studios and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. Karan took to twitter to make the official announcement, he wrote, “There is a NEW DATE for #SOTY2!!!! The admissions are now in summer 2019!!! Watch this space!” SOTY2 is the sequel of 2012 release ‘Student of the Year’ which was the debut film of actors Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. ‘SOTY 2’ stars Tiger Shroff and will mark the debut of Chunky Panday’s daughter, Ananya Panday and actress Tara Sutaria who has been a part of Indian sitcom ‘The Suite life of Karan and Kabir’.
