Karan Johar shares first glimpse of ‘Kalank’, remembers his father Yash Johar

New Delhi, Mar 07(ANI): Ace filmmaker Karan Johar penned an emotional note along with sharing the first look of his upcoming production. The filmmaker went onto how much the film, that was conceptualized 15 years ago and one on which his late father Yash Johar worked on, meant to him. Taking to his instagram account, KJo shared a sneak peak from the world of ‘Kalank’. He also asked the fans ‘to stay tuned for more’ on Thursday. The photo features a man and woman in a boat, surrounded by large flowers in a lake. The woman is dressed in all white outfit while thw man rows her boat. However, the picture doesn’t reveal the face of the duo. Helmed by Abhishek Varman, ‘Kalak’ is a period drama and stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. This will be Alia and Varun’s fourth collaboration after working together in blockbusters like ‘Student of the year’, ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’. The film is set to hit the big screens on April 19, 2019.
