New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): Hollywood director Justin Lin, a 'Fast and Furious' veteran, is in talks to return to the hit action franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lin is in talks to return to direct the ninth installment of the blockbuster series. Franchise star Vin Diesel revealed the news during a Facebook Live stream, where he also teased that star Jordana Brewster would return after sitting out this year's 'The Fate of the Furious'. Universal Pictures, the studio behind the 'Fast & Furious' franchise, had not commented on the news. Lin has directed four 'Fast and furious' films beginning with 2006's 'Tokyo Drift'. The ninth installment moved its release to 2020 earlier this month to accommodate the expanding franchise, which sees a spinoff focused on Dwayne Johnson's and Jason Statham's characters set for 2019.
