Julia Louis Dreyfus, Sterling K. Brown make history at SAG awards

New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): Seems like 2018 SAG awards was a historical night for American actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sterling K. Brown. Louis Dreyfus has become the first TV actress to win five individual trophies, while Brown became the first black actor to win in the category ‘Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series’. The American actress wasn't present at the award ceremony. Presenters Connie Britton and Mandy Moore accepted the win on her behalf. This was Louis-Dreyfus' eighth SAG award, out of a total of 21 nominations. Sterling K. Brown won the SAG Award for his role as Randall in NBC’s ‘This Is Us’. Earlier this month, Brown became the first black actor to win Golden Globes for best actor in a TV drama.He was also the first black actor in two decades to win an Emmy for best actor in a drama series. Well, both Julia Louis Dreyfus, Sterling K. Brown won big at the award ceremony.
