John Lithgow to play Jud Crandall in 'Pet Sematary' remake

New Delhi, May 05 (ANI): Hollywood actor John Lithgow has been roped in to essay the character of Jud Crandall in the official remake of 'Pet Sematary'. The news has been confirmed by a leading daily which also stated that Jason Clarke will also be a part of the horror film. The adaptation comes from a 1983 novel of the same name, penned by legendary author Stephen King. The movie will see Lithgow as a lovely neighbour to a city family. The 1989 original had Fred Gwynne play the part. The film will be helmed by the director duo of Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch of 'Starry Eyes' fame.
