New Delhi, Jan 12 (ANI): John Abraham is all geared to return to big screen with his upcoming film ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ (RAW). The film also features Sikander Kher and is set to arrive in theatres on April 12, 2019. Notably, the actor has had a good run in the box office the last few years with both ‘Parmanu’ and ‘Satyamev Jayate’ being well received by the audience. The film was supposed to release earlier, however, it faced many issues initially. Taking to Twitter, film critic Taran Adarsh announced the film’s release, writing, “Release date finalised... #RomeoAkbarWalter #RAW to release on 12 April 2019... Stars John Abraham, Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikandar Kher... Directed by Robbie Grewal... Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, KYTA Productions and VA Film Company.” Mouni Roy, who too is a part of the venture posted about it on Twitter. The film, being directed by Robbie Grewal, is John Abraham’s second collaboration with producer Ajay Kapoor after ‘Parmanu’. The thriller film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and is said to be inspired by true events.
