India is the first country to make a film on menstruation: R Balki

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Feb 15 (ANI): Bollywood Director R. Balki is all praises for the latest Bollywood flick ‘Pad Man.’ During a recent interaction with media, he said that ‘Pad Man’ is the first film which addressed the issue of menstruation globally. Before becoming a filmmaker in the Hindi Film Industry Balki was a part of the advertising industry. However, he feels that no medium is as powerful as film, and thereby believes in entertainment education.
