Mumbai, Sep 12 (ANI): Actors Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma launched a 'Green Ganesha' initiative during the promotion of their film 'Sui Dhaaga' in Mumbai. Both actors encouraged the audience to choose eco-friendly ways of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. Varun and Anushka both spoke about the essence of their characters and the film. Varun, talking about his character Mauji, said, "Mauji is a very fun loving character who wants to be the hero of his family, but circumstances hold him back. But he keeps trying. The film is eventually about entrepreneurship, it has a beautiful love story, there is comedy and other things. Mauji can go to any extent for the happiness of his family or anybody else. I also became a dog in this film for the very first time. I used to notice dogs to learn their habits so that I can essay the role of Mauji with sincerity." The film is helmed by director Sharat Katariya. 'Sui Dhaaga' is a film about finding love and respect through self-reliance. The film is set to release on September 28.
