Davos (Switzerland), Jan 23 (ANI): Bollywood ace filmmaker Karan Johar has hailed the Supreme Court judgment on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial release 'Padmaavat'. While talking to ANI, he said he hopes for a ‘smooth and safe’ release of ‘Padmaavat’. He added it’s matter of happiness that the law has prevailed. Film director and producer attended World Economic Forum 2018 in Davos. Bhansali's magnum opus has been facing protests from various groups, particularly Shri Rajput Karni Sena, for allegedly tampering with historical facts. The movie is all set for a worldwide January 25 release.
