New Delhi, Apr 19 (ANI): The lead star of American thriller series 'Homeland', Claire Danes has confirmed that the series is wrapping up after its upcoming eighth season. The actress, who plays the role of Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer with bipolar disorder, confirmed the news during an interview. "Yeah, that's it," Danes said. According to Deadline, the Emmy award winning actor said she is "conflicted" about the series coming to an end, but she's ready. "She's a lot, this Carrie-freakin' Mathison character." Noting that Carrie "is under constant duress," Danes told Stern "It's a workout," so "I'll be ready for a reprieve from that."
