Mumbai, Nov 06 (ANI): The 1997-blockbuster ‘Pardes’ played a pivotal role in actress Mahima Chaudhry’s career. The actress was praised for her outstanding portrayal of character ‘Ganga’. Not just we, even the film’s director Subhash Ghai feels that no one could have justified the character so well the way Mahima did. Speaking to media during the re-premier of ‘Pardes’ in Mumbai, the 72-year-old filmmaker revealed why he casted Mahima over actress Madhuri Dixit. The grand re-premiere of ‘Pardes’ was held in Mumbai, yesterday. The movie’s leading lady Mahima Chaudhry also attended it.
