New Delhi, Jun 19 (ANI): 'Game of Thrones' actress Emilia Clarke bid farewell to her role of Queen Daenerys Targaryen in the famous series on Monday. Clarke shared a post on her social media saying, "Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade, It's been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I'd be able to live and the family I'll never stop missing." This revelation came following the wrap up of her 'Game of Thrones' shoot. Clarke's role of Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series is based on the book series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R. R. Martin. The upcoming season of 'Game of Thrones' announced on July 26 will be the final season of the hit TV series, ending on a streak of 8 seasons in total.
