New Delhi, Oct 03 (ANI): The first look of Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji is finally out and it's everything a fan of the 'energiser bunny’ would die for. The ‘Bajirao of Bollywood’ took to his Twitter handle to introduce the world to his character by posting two posters, writing, “SULTAN ALAUDDIN KHILJI #Khilji.” One of the pictures show him in his bath, his tresses loose and his chest gloriously unwaxed. The blue-grey gaze is a little bit unsettling. In another picture, Ranveer as Khilji wears a gaudy golden crown and looks in a mirror. With ghastly, kohl eyes, long hair and a scar, the actor looks fierce in both the poster. Prior to this, the makers had first revealed Deepika Padukone's look as Rani Padmini following which they revealed Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh. ‘Padmavati’ is based on lore that 14th century ruler Alauddin Khilji fell madly in love with Padmini, the queen of Chittor. Sanjay Leela Bhansal’s magnum opus is all set to hit the screens on December 1. Well, Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji exudes menace, charisma and his royal avatar is surely a treat for his fans.
