New Delhi, Jan 08 (ANI): The fashion on the red carpet at the 75th Golden Globe Awards, on Sunday night, were a sea of black gowns, pantsuits and tuxedos, worn as a sign of solidarity against sexual harassment and gender inequality in the entertainment industry. Many celebrities, like Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone, Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, Diane Kruger, among others walked the ramp in all black to be a part of the protest against the sexual harassment, brought to light by the downfall of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. The colour black was chosen as a way for the film and TV industry to make a statement against a pervasive culture of misconduct. The “Me Too” hashtag, which started trending worldwide, was used by some of the biggest stars, including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. Hosted by Seth Meyers, the star-studded 75th annual Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton in California.
