New Delhi, May 05 (ANI): Director John Singleton, who died on Monday, will get a private funeral ceremony in Los Angeles on May 6. The funeral will be a small, private goodbye gathering including family and friends. No fans would be allowed to join the ceremony. However, the family is planning to build a larger memorial for John in a few weeks to celebrate his life. The 'Boyz N the Hood' director passed away at the age of 51 as he was hospitalised after suffering a major stroke. As per a statement from Singleton's family, the Oscar nominee director died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was on life support after suffering a stroke. The 51-year-old's recent projects included a show 'Snowfall' he co-created with the FX Network, which was renewed last year for the third season. Many celebrities also mourned the death of the legendary director.
