Los Angeles (U.S.A) Sep 18 (ANI): Bollywoods Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, who was one of the presenters at the 2017 Emmy Awards, earned a huge applause for her look. The 35-year-old actress turned heads in Balmain shimming white ensemble. But things took an awkward turn when her name was seemingly mispronounced by the announcer as Chopa, instead of Chopra. It all happened when the Quantico star took to stage along with actor Anthony Anderson to present the award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series to John Oliver for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. While announcing her name, the Emmys announcer missed out an "R" from Chopra and pronounced it as Chopa. As expected this goof up did not go down well with Twitterati who were quick to slam the announcer. The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Sunday night, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
