New Delhi, Apr 10 (ANI): The Election Commission on Wednesday banned the release of Vivek Oberoi starrer biopic 'PM Narendra Modi' during the Lok Sabha polls 2019. Election body said, “Any material disturbing the level playing field in favour of any political party or individual should not be displayed”. EC’s decision comes a day after the Supreme Court dismissed a plea seeking a stay on release of the film. The film was set to release on April 11. Helmed by Omung Kumar, the film has been criticised by the opposition parties which believe that the film will give BJP an undue advantage in the Lok Sabha polls.
