New Delhi, Jun 16 (ANI): Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh who is portraying the role of legendary hockey player Sandeep Singh in his upcoming film ‘Soorma’, took to Twitter to talk about his role. Dosanjh shared a zealous training video of ‘Soorma’ on Twitter, saying this was ‘the toughest role’ he has ever played till now. The ‘Udta Punjab' star, was trained by a former captain and underwent physical transformation to look like hockey player Sandeep Singh.The trailer of the film garnered immense appreciation from the audience. It is an inspiring true story of Sandeep Singh, who made headlines for his miraculous comeback after an unfortunate accident. Singh is regarded as one of the world’s most dangerous drag-flickers, a peculiar scoring technique in hockey. The film also features Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi. Helmed by Shaad Ali, the film is set to hit the theatres on July 13.
