'Dhadak' mints Rs 33.67 crore in opening weekend

New Delhi, Jul 23 (ANI): Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s debut film ‘Dhadak’ received mixed reactions initially on the opening day. The performances of the debutants were appreciated by the viewers in the film which shows aspects of caste differences prevalent in Indian society. The film opened on July 20 at the theatres. After its first weekend the film has bagged itself Rs 33.67 crores. Film critic Tarn Adarsh, Tweeted the collections on his twitter. “And the BO numbers do the talking... #Dhadak packs an IMPRESSIVE TOTAL in its opening weekend” he wrote. Dhadak is a remake of marathi film ‘Sairat’. It differs in the set up of locations and synopsis.
