New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): The Delhi High Court has dismissed the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the release of the trailer of the movie, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Pooja Mahajan, petitioner in the case, had sought a stay on the trailer of former prime minister Manmohan Singh’s biopic. She stated that the film features an incorrect representation of the facts to malign the image of Singh. The court has questioned the locus of Pooja Mahajan. The movie has recently drawn flak from various political parties which demanded the special screening of the film to ensure that it does not contain factual errors. The film is based on facts chronicled in a book by Sanjaya Baru, media advisor of Manmohan Singh.
