New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Irish band 'The Cranberries' lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has passed away “suddenly" in London at the age of 46. The official Twitter handle of Cranberries announced the news on Twitter, writing, “Irish and international singer Dolores O’Riordan has died suddenly in London today. She was 46 years old. Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.” The statement from her publicist read, “The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time,” reports E! Online. The statement continued, “Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time." As soon as her death news broke out, rich tributes poured in from her bandmates Noel Hogan, Fergal Lawler, and Mike Hogan.
