‘BrightBurn’ gets new release date

New Delhi, Oct 09, (ANI): James Gunn’s upcoming horror movie, titled ‘BrightBurn’ will now be released on May 24, 2019 as opposite to November 30, this year. Written by Gunn’s brothers Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn, the movie would also star Elizabeth Banks. This comes immediately after James Gunn was fired from the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise following his controversial tweets on pedophilia and rape. Actress Selma Blair, had later quit Twitter over her support towards reinstating Gunn in the film and also called him ‘one of the good ones’. ‘BrightBurn’ will open opposite Disney and Guy Ritchie’s live action ‘Aladdin’ and as well as Warner Bros. video game adaptation ‘Minecraft’ and Fox’s ‘Stubber’.
