Bollywood actresses laud ordinance to amend POCSO act

Mumbai, Apr 22 (ANI): Bollywood actresses Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kriti Sanon applauded the ordinance to amend POCSO act, in which rapists convicted for raping a child up to 12 years will be awarded a death sentence. Shilpa Shetty Kundra said “I think it is a good step. People who do such horrifying crime should be punished in the harshest way possible”. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari said “I am very happy that such a step has been taken by the government. It is a victory for every girl & her parents in this country. It is a great day to get this news”. Bareilly Ki Barfi fame, Kriti Sanon said “Really glad that such a strong punishment would be given to such people. I am really happy that it has finally happened. I feel angry whenever I hear about such cases”.
