Biopic to be made on Birsa Munda's life

New Delhi, Nov 15 (ANI): A film will be made on the life of the revolutionary leader Birsa Munda, remembering his 143rd birth anniversary on November 15. The film will be directed by renowned filmmaker Pa Ranjith and producer duo Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora. Birsa Munda is considered a revolutionary real life hero who fought British for the local tribe's rights over land in present day Bihar and Jharkhand. He became the leader of the tribe and fought with valour. The makers of the film have also acquired the rights of Mahasweta Devi's book, 'Jungal Ke Davedar' based on the life of Birsa Munda.
