Big B feels ‘extremely proud’ of daughter Shweta’s ‘girl power’

New Delhi, Aug27 (ANI): Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan has been an advocate for women empowerment. He has lauded women for their achievements and contributions to the society, irrespective of the field. The 75-year-old expressed gratitude upon receiving a present from his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Shweta who recently launched a luxury fashion pret label, in collaboration with designer Monisha Jaising, gifted her father a hoodie from her collection. The ‘Piku’ actor shared a picture on Instagram handle and wrote, “Girl Power.. the hoodie from #mxsworld.. especially made for me by the girl power of the house.. Shweta” The ‘Bhagban’ star mentioned the same in his blog, which he updates on a daily basis. He wrote, “The daughter presents the ‘hoodie’ of their stable #mxsworld, and makes her father feel extremely proud.. GIRL POWER.. and there could not be a better day to chose it.. on Rakshabandan.” Currently, Big B is busy with Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ starring Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor. He is also preparing to host the 10th edition of the popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
