B-Town pays tribute to ad-filmmaker Alyque Padamsee

New Delhi, Nov 17 (ANI): Condolence messages started pouring in on Twitter as soon as the news of renowned ad-filmmaker Alyque Padamsee broke. Many Bollywood celebs including Nimrat Kaur, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Atul Kasbekar and Ashwin Mushran extended their condolences. President, Ram Nath Kovind as well Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to extend condolences. Alyque Padamsee died in Mumbai at the age of 90. Padamsee is best known for his role as Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1982 film ‘Gandhi’. He has been regarded as ‘father of modern Indian advertising’ and has been honoured with Padma Shri award in 2000.
