Arjun Kapoor begins ‘journey like never before’ with ‘Panipat’

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): The cast and crew of ‘Panipat’ on Friday kick started shooting of the much-anticipated period drama. Actors Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, took to their respective social media handles to share their enthusiasm on beginning the “new chapter.” In his post, the ‘Namaste England’ star expressed his excitement on getting a chance to work with Ashutosh Gowariker and others in the flick. He tweeted, “Embarking on a journey like never before... with Ashu sir & our entire team.” The ‘Housefull 4’ actor, who would soon commence the shoot, shared, “Our #Panipat journey begins today. Super excited for this new chapter.. gonna join you guys in 2days.. let’s do this!” Also starring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, ‘Panipat’ is based on the 'Third Battle of Panipat' fought between the Maratha Empire lead by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali, King of Afghanistan, on the big screen. The film’s tagline reads 'The Great Betrayal', and it is scheduled for a December 6, 2019 release.
