Anupam Kher's ‘Kheer’ bags Best International Short Film award

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Veteran actor Anupam Kher is surely on cloud nine as his short film ‘Kheer’ recently bagged the Best International Short Film award at the 2017 Vancouver International Film Festival. An elated chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India announced the news on his Twitter handle, and wrote, “Our short film #Kheer has won a BIG prize. We got the “Best International Short Film” award for #Kheer at the Vancouver international film festival. Jai Ho to the entire team.” The seven minutes long film talks about an elderly couple in love. Written by Sharanya Rajagopal and Surya Balakrishnan, the movie also stars Natasha Rastogi and child actors Stuti Dixit and Abhimanyu Chawla. ‘Kheer’ was released by YouTube channel Terribly Tiny Talkies in February this year.
