Angelina Jolie ends contract with divorce lawyer

New Delhi, Aug 28 (ANI): Amidst her legal battle with estranged husband Brad Pitt, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has ended her contract with her divorce lawyer. People magazine reported that Laura Wasser stepped down as Jolie's divorce lawyer since the Oscar-winning actor has focused her attention on healing the situation of her family. Jolie’s spokesperson, Mindy Nyby said that she has decided to change counsel to Samantha Bley Dejean since the latter’s expertise deals with the protection of children. People close to Jolie said that Samantha is now in full charge of this ongoing divorce settlement case with Brad Pitt. Jolie and Pitt, 54, for a long time now are fighting for the custody of their six children- Maddox (17), Pax (14), Zahara (13), Shiloh (12), and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Jolie and Pitt who met on the sets of 2005 thriller ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ married in 2014, but only to call it quits in September 2016. After a court judgment, the ‘Salt’ star allowed Pitt to visit their children for four hours on school days, and 12 hours on holidays. Earlier, Angelina accused Pitt of being a careless father. In his reply, the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star said that he filed for a loan of 8 million USD to help the actress buy a house.
