Akshay Kumar hosts special screening of ‘PadMan’

Mumbai, Jan 24 (ANI): Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, on Tuesday, hosted a special screening of his film ‘PadMan’ for his family and friends in Mumbai. His wife Twinkle Khanna, son Aarav, Dimple Kapadia, R Balki among others attended it. Helmed by Balki, 'Padman' is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who makes cheap and affordable sanitary pads for the women of his village and fights for menstrual hygiene. The movie, which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles, will hit theatres on February 9.
