Panaji (Goa), Nov 28 (ANI): The nine- day long International Film Festival of India 2017 (IFFI) concluded on Tuesday with much pomp and show in Goa. Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles and Information and Broadcasting Smriti Irani and actor Akshay Kumar conferred the Indian Personality of the Year Award to megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The 75-year-old veteran actor was honoured for his immense contribution to Indian Cinema. Acclaimed Canadian filmmaker, Atom Egoyan was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award at the closing ceremony of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2017. Eminent Indian film personalities such as, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Pednekar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sidharth Malhotra and Huma Qureshi graced the closing ceremony of 48th International Film Festival of India .
