Akshay Kumar all set to make web series debut titled ‘The End’

Mumbai, Mar 06 (ANI): Bollywood powerhouse Akshay Kumar is soon going to make his digital debut with an Amazon Prime Video series tentatively titled ‘The End’. The series promises to be a blend of action, drama, and thriller. The new series will be aired across 200 countries and territories upon its release on Amazon Prime Video, the launch of which took place in Mumbai today. The actor, known for performing, set himself on fire and mysteriously appeared on stage, shocking the audience. He also shared a few glimpses of himself on stage on Twitter handle. He wrote, "Literally, all fired up for my association with @PrimeVideoIN’s THE END (working title). Trust me, this is only the beginning." When asked what made him venture into the digital world, Akshay said, “If I were to make a small confession here, it was my son Aarav from whom i got inspired that I make my digital debut as that’s what the youth is hooked onto. On this medium, I want to create something extraordinary and connect with them and what’s better platform than Amazon”. The upcoming action series will be bankrolled by Abundantia Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The production house had earlier bankrolled Amazon Prime Video series titled ‘Breathe’ Akshay will be next seen in an upcoming film titled ‘Kesari’. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Akshay is also revisiting his comedy roots with ‘Housefull 4, He also has other films in his kitty including ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Good News’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’.
