Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be bestowed with Meryl Streep Award for Excellence

New Delhi, Sep 05 (ANI): Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will add another honour to her name as she will be bestowed with the inaugural Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Award. The award will be given to honour the best female talent both in Bollywood and Hollywood. The ceremony will take in Washington DC on September 8. WIFT India informed that Aishwarya Rai will be rewarded for showcasing a "distinction in her craft and for expanding the role of women within the entertainment industry."
