After watching film, I realised Akshay was perfect choice for ‘Padman’: Twinkle Khanna

Mumbai, Dec 21 (ANI): After seeing the trailer of ‘Padman’, we all believe that Akshay Kumar was indeed the perfect choice for the film. Twinkle Khanna, who is making her debut as a producer with the upcoming movie, however, has revealed that initially Khiladi Kumar was not the first choice to play social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham in the film. While speaking to media at the song launch of the movie, Twinkle revealed she had few names in her mind but later after watching the film, she realised that Akshay was the perfect choice for the role. The first song from the film ‘Aaj Se Teri’ was launched yesterday in the presence of Twinkle, Akshay Kumar and R Balki. The flick is slated to release on January 26.
