New Delhi, Jan 08 (ANI): Anupam Kher’s upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ has been at the centre of political controversies ever since the trailer of the film released. On Tuesday, a local court of Muzaffarpur, Bihar ordered to register an FIR against Kher and 13 others in connection with a petition filed by Sudhir Ojha against the film. In his complaint, Ojha had stated that he felt ‘hurt’ and upset upon viewing the promos of the biographical drama. Besides Kher, who plays the role of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film, others mentioned in the complaint include actor Akshaye Khanna who appears in the role of noted journalist Sanjaya Baru. Sudhir’s report claimed that the film projected the country and a host of its political leaders in very poor light. The Anupam Kher starrer is all set to release on January 11.
