Amritsar (Punjab), Aug 27 (ANI): Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan visited holiest shrine of Sikhism, the Golden Temple to offer prayers and seek blessings ahead of the release of his upcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Manmarziyaan’ in Amritsar. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Anand L. Rai, the film depicts a modern love story with a Punjabi touch starring Abhishek, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. Taapsee essaying the role of Rumi struggles to make a choice between her careless boyfriend, Vicky, played by Kaushal, and a more mature character of Robbie, played by Abhishek. Rumi ends up marrying Robbie, however, Vicky continues to haunt her leaving her confused. 'Manmarziyaan' will see the return of Abhishek Bachchan to the big screen after a gap of almost two years. The junior Bachchan was last seen in the 2016 rom-com 'Housefull 3'. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal in a pivotal role. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the flick will hit the big screens on September 14.
