A technical committee constituted by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Odisha, inspected the hand-rearing centre at Nandankanan Zoological Park on Tuesday to assess the health and condition of five juvenile orangutans housed there.
All five rescued baby orangutans under specialised care at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar are stable, exhibiting normal feed acceptance and showing improved physical activity, Deputy Director Nandankanan Zoological Park said on Tuesday.
