NCP-SCP national spokesperson Clyde Crasto has urged the Maharashtra government to ensure the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case, Mihir Shah, is not given leniency or evade punishment due to the accused's father's association with Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena party.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has claimed that the Worli hit-and-run case is a murder, as the accused dragged the deceased to a dairy and then hit her again by reversing the car.
Earlier, Police arrested Rajendra Singh Bidawat and the father of the main accused, Rajesh Shah for their alleged involvement in the Worli hit-and-run case that took place on Sunday (July 7).
