According to the information received from the Health Department, Dehradun has the maximum number of four-hundred and eighteen (418) dengue patients while the toll in the entire state stands at six hundred (600).

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued as many as sixty people trapped in their houses after heavy rainfall caused waterlogging and disrupted normal life in the state's Udham Singh Nagar, said officials on Wednesday.
"There was heavy rain in the area late at night yesterday, after which the water level of the Pranmati river started flowing above the danger mark. Due to this the Pindar river also came in spate," Chamoli District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana said.
The water level of River Pranmati has increased to a great extent following heavy rainfall in the state. The authorities have alerted the locals in the area to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents, said officials on Friday.
"Efforts are being made to make way for drainage of excessive rainwater with the help of JCB. SDRF is constantly trying to help the affected people," officials said.
