Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that India will persist in its role as a "Vishwa Mitra" (a global friend), fostering significant alliances to create a genuinely interconnected and fair environment for humanity worldwide.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar called on the Non-Aligned Movement countries to challenge the concentrations undermining their economic security, adding that the voice of NAM is here to stay and grow.
In India's National Statement at the summit, Jaishankar provided insights into India's extensive contributions, spanning 600 significant projects across 78 nations, with a special focus on Africa, where 300 projects and 45,000 training slots reflect India's commitment and solidarity.
