Yamuna Pathak, National Mahila President of Visva Hindu Raksha Parishad, on Saturday welcomed the Supreme Court's ruling on menstrual health, saying that the judgement "sets a powerful precedent that dignity is indivisible and non-negotiable."
Speaking to ANI, Pathak said, "We from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, unequivocally support the government's redevelopment of Manikarnika Ghat. This is not destruction of heritage, but protection of Dharma, dignity of the departed, safety of the living, and continuity of a civilisation."
Speaking to ANI in Hyderabad, Yamuna Pathak said the name "Indur" reflects the region's historical and cultural identity. She stated that restoring the old name would help revive the traditional heritage associated with the place and strengthen public sentiment.
