Researchers at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, in collaboration with UR Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO, and Haifa University, Israel, have uncovered a mysterious X-ray signal pattern emitted from a blackhole called GRS 1915+105, located nearly 28,000 light-years from Earth.
Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who is part of a four-member crew of Axiom Space's Ax4 mission, will be interacting with the UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Karnataka through a ham radio conversation from the International Space Station (ISS) on July 4.
Stating that India's rocket women are leading us to the sky and beyond, the VP said, "They have broken ceilings for themselves, and for our progress to go beyond benchmarks set earlier," as per a press release from the Vice President's Secretariat.
According to the ISRO, the tests were conducted during the first week of March 2023 at the test facilities located at the UR Rao Satellite Centre in Bengaluru.
