The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with the Republic of the Philippines following the two earthquakes that struck the southern part of the country, resulting in a number of deaths.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported two earthquakes near Kamchatka's east coast on Friday, measuring 7.5 and 6.0 on the Richter scale, at depths of 85 km and 30 km, respectively. The agency shared details in a post on X.
Tajikistan experienced two earthquakes on April 13, with the first measuring 6.1 and the second 3.9 on the Richter Scale, according to the National Centre for Seismology. Both quakes occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, making aftershocks likely.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 struck Myanmar on Tuesday afternoon, followed by another quake of magnitude 4.5 in the evening, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
