Taliban’s Supreme Court has announced that four people including a woman have been publicly flogged on accusations of committing “immorality” in Kabul’s Paghman district, Khaama Press reported.
The statement said the 11 were allegedly accused of "moral crimes and adultery", and were lashed by the Taliban in front of a huge crowd in northern Badakhshan province.
A spokesperson for the Islamic Emirates, Bilal Karimi said, "The execution yesterday took place after many investigations, which were aligned with Islamic (law). All sides should not have any concern in this regard and should respect it."
