The Wanban Bridge, which links New Taipei's Banqiao District to Taipei's Wanhua District, was entirely shut down from 11 pm (local time) on Monday to 6 am (local time) on Tuesday to facilitate the drill.
Taiwan's MND said that 19 out of 25 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
According to Taiwan MND, five of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft entered Taiwan's northern, central, Southwest, and Southeast Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) said on Saturday that it detected 12 Chinese military aircraft and eight naval vessels between 6 am (local time) on Friday (June 14) and the same time on Saturday.
