Conducted from December 18 to 30 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the second edition of the India-UAE Joint Military Exercise reaffirmed the deepening defence partnership between the two nations and underscored their shared commitment to regional peace, security, and stability.
According to the Indian Army, the exercise enhanced the joint capability of both armies to conduct counter-terrorism and sub-conventional operations in semi-urban and urban terrain, reflecting their shared commitment to regional peace, stability and defence cooperation.
The Indian contingent, of 334 personnels, is being represented mainly by troops from the ASSAM Regiment. The Nepal side is being represented by 334 personnels represented mainly by troops from DEVI DATTA Regiment.
During the exercise, the Indian contingent, comprising 90 personnel, especially from the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles battalion, and troops from the French Army's 13e Demi-Brigade de Legion Etrangere, participated in a series of mission-oriented drills tailored to sub-conventional operations.
As part of the Exercise Tiger Triumph, Indian Army, US Marines and US Army National Guard train together for joint sub-conventional operations in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief scenario.
