In the small city of Greenfield, Iowa, located approximately 50 miles southwest of Des Moines, a destructive storm unleashed a tornado shortly before 5 pm, causing extensive damage to numerous homes and structures, according to Iowa State Patrol spokesperson Sgt Alex Dinkla.
The storm, which broke into America's houses, came on Friday and till now, had crushed homes and businesses, ripped roofs off buildings, splintered trees and sent vehicles flying.
At least 11 people have been killed after severe weather and tornadoes tore through the South and Midwest, flung the roof from a concert venue and left more than 200,000 households without power.
