Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Friday lashed out at BJP leader CT Ravi over his alleged derogatory remarks about Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar and dismissed Ravi's claims that the police are attempting to murder him.
During the meeting held in New Delhi on Thursday, the visiting delegation had detailed discussions with the Union minister over the cauvery issue, they said.
This came after the CWMA following its meeting in the national capital on Monday, reiterated the decision of the Cauvery Water Regulation Committee, asking Karnataka to continue releasing 5,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu for another 15 days.
