The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Shahdara district apprehended a 19-year-old woman, identified as Roopa, for her alleged involvement in drug peddling. During the operation, police recovered 55.52 grams of smack (heroin) from her possession in East Delhi's Geeta Colony.
"More than 100 of our firemen and over 30 of our fire units are present at the spot... We are making every effort... So far, there is no information on any casualties. The fire will be brought under control very soon...," Deputy Chief Fire Officer said.
Immediately after receiving the information, several fire tenders reached the spot and are currently engaged in dousing the fire. Further details on the fire are awaited as the relief work continues.
