Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday on the eve of the inauguration of the new Parliament building, said that the symbol of transfer of power, Sengol, which was kept as a 'walking stick' in Prayagraj's Anand Bhavan will get its rightful place on Sunday.
Ambalavana Desiga Paramachariya Swamigal, Thiruvavaduthurai Aadheenam on Friday said that it is a "matter of pride" for Tamil Nadu that 'Sengol', a symbol of justice, will be installed in the new Parliament building adding that "some people are spreading lies".
The 'Sengol' which will be placed in the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28 will symbolise justice, renowned Indian classical dancer Padma Subrahmanyam who wrote to Prime Minister's Office said on Thursday.
